We are delighted to inform you that KOMS has become a member of the UNOY community! 

The United Network of Young Peacebuilders (UNOY) is a network of around 130 youth organizations in 70 countries, united around the vision of a world free from violence. 

The network gathers young people who actively come together for a global community of peace, without fear and threats. Additionally, it enables young people to have the power to transform conflict into cooperation through dialogue, and the participation and contribution of young people are taken seriously and are meaningful to all. 

KOMS is the first and only organization in Serbia that is a member of UNOY. 

The benefits of membership in this network are manifold. Membership in UNOY enables peer learning and solidarity actions in the field of security building. As extremely important, we see the work on the joint creation of a regional strategy, vision, and plan for joint action towards recognizing the role of young people in building peace. 

UNOY is a platform through which KOMS can additionally strengthen its voice and work through international exposure. In addition to all of the above, the network is a significant resource when dealing with the crisis of peace protection and activist work.  

We are looking forward to partnership and working with other like-minded member organizations on the topic of peace and security, and especially on the Youth, Peace, and Security Agenda!
