In a bid to empower its member organizations, the National Youth Organisation of Serbia (KOMS) recently conducted a workshop aimed at equipping them with the necessary skills to promote social entrepreneurship among local youth communities.
Led by Vanja Rakić, KOMS Program Coordinator, and Gordana Adamov, President of KOMS’ Executive Board, both seasoned youth workers, the workshop focused on utilizing ‘design thinking’ methods as a valuable tool for youth workers and social enterprises.
The workshop delved into innovative approaches to address community issues, emphasizing user-centric solutions and creative problem-solving. Participants were exposed to successful examples of social enterprises in Serbia, showcasing the potential impact of integrating entrepreneurship with social responsibility. By fostering a culture of innovation and social consciousness, KOMS aims to inspire young leaders to tackle societal challenges proactively.
