Representatives of the National Youth Council of Serbia, Anja Jokić, program coordinator and Aleksandar Ivković, researcher, participated from March 30 to April 1 at the meeting of researchers in Florence, organized by the Italian Youth Association CNG within the Erasmus+ European Youth Together project called European European Youth Voices.
The meeting of researchers brought together representatives of youth umbrella associations and youth organizations from Serbia, Italy, Austria, Poland and Latvia with the aim of developing a methodology that will serve to conduct quantitative and qualitative research.
The research will focus on the comparative analysis of national strategic documents for youth and will include relevant data on youth opinion and recommendations on how to improve the implementation of 11 European youth goals in five European countries that are involved in the implementation of the project.
Club for Youth Empowerment 018 (KOM 018) from Serbia in cooperation with organizations: Beyond Borders Italy – Italy, Active Austria – Austria, Idea for Life – Poland, Piedzīvojuma Gars (PG) – Latvia and national youth councils: National Youth Council of Serbia (Krovna Organizacija Mladih Srbije) – Serbia, Consiglio Nazionale Giovani – Italy, Polska Rada Organizacji Młodzieżowych PROM (PROM) – Poland, and Latvijas Jaunatnes padome (LJP) – Latvia implements “European Youth Voices” project to address major youth issues and key priorities of young people in 5 participating countries: Serbia, Italy, Austria, Latvia and Poland as stated in EU Youth Strategy and 11 Youth Goals. The project focuses on mainstreaming youth policies on national and European level though development of comparative analysis and set of recommendations for bringing EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027 on national levels while also creating European network of young people, youth workers, activists and other relevant stakeholders who will contribute to more opportunities and initiatives for achievement of defined 11 European Youth Goals. Project “European Youth Voices” is implemented in the period 01.12.2022 to 30.11.2024 and is co-financed by the European Union through Erasmus + European Youth Together.
