The dates from August 23 to 27 were reserved for KOMS representatives Miljana Pejić and Milica Borjanić for a study visit to Stockholm, Sweden.
As part of the study visit, 4 meetings were held with relevant actors in the field of gender equality and active participation of young people in decision-making processes through a special focus on EU dialogue with young people.
Meetings were held with the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with Sofia Calltorp, Ambassador for Gender Equality and Feministic Foreign Policy, and Cecilia Ruthström-Ruin, Ambassador for Human Rights, Democracy and Rule of Law.

At a meeting with the Division for Civil Society and National Minorities in the Ministry of Culture, the topic of the meeting was support for youth organizations and cooperation with the umbrella association was discussed.

The third meeting was held with the organization Kvinna till Kvinna on the topic of promotion of gender equality and support and cooperation of youth organizations.
The fourth meeting was held with the Swedish umbrella association National Council of Swedish Youth Organizations (LSU) on the topic of fruition of youth policies and EU dialogue with young people.
The focus of this study visit was on the topic of gender equality and the active participation of young people, with special reference to the EU dialogue process with young people. At the end of 2021, KOMS implemented a gender audit process and created an action plan with the aim of improving the programs and contributions made by KOMS in the field of gender equality. Also, Sweden is next in the presidency of the Council of the European Union, which means that Sweden will be the host of the next youth conference in the cycle of conducting consultations with young people within the EU dialogue with young people.
