On Tuesday, April 5, 2022, a meeting of the Expert Group of the Youth Guarantee was held, attended by the KOMS representative, Milica Borjanić.

KOMS is involved in this process through participation in the Expert Group, as well as participation in the expert team. In February this year, the process of implementing the Youth Guarantee program began, when an introductory conference was held with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs, the International Labor Organization and members of the Coordination Body for Implementing and Monitoring the Implementation Plan Youth Guarantee and Expert Groups Youth Guarantee.

Youth Guarantees refer to a program under which there would be a political obligation for institutions to provide all young people who apply for the program with a quality offer of employment, continuing education, internships or training. We have written in the previous period about why Guarantees are important and what their practical application is.

In the coming period, KOMS will contribute to this process, which is of great importance for the position of young people in Serbia.
