On February 24 and 25, a kick-off meeting for the year 2022 was held in Tirana as part of the Connecting Youth platform, in which program coordinator Anja Jokić participated on behalf of the Youth Umbrella Organization of Serbia.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of umbrella associations and youth organizations from the Western Balkans. On that occasion, they defined the activity plan for 2022, and based on the Strategic Plan of the platform for 2022-2024.

The partners have also reached an agreement that in addition to the planned activities in 2022, they will also work on the development of new projects that will help strengthen the capacity of the organizations that are members of the umbrella alliances.

Connecting Youth is a platform made up of umbrella associations and youth organizations from the Western Balkans, which represents a space for young people to network, plan and act. The work of the platform is coordinated by the CDI Institute for Cooperation and Development with the support of the Hannes Seidel Foundation.
